Are you busy mama? Do you find yourself running around some days just trying to keep it together? We have all been there.

Between appointments, sports, activities and work, it is SO easy to get lost in everyone’s schedules. For me, I am a creature of habit and feel thrown off when my routine is out of whack. I like to know what to expect during the week and even on the weekends a lot of times!
When I was a stay at home mom, I had my day mostly planned out from getting up to when we went to bed at night. As my daughter is getting older and we have more things to keep track of, I have a few things that I do to keep my mind at ease and my days straight that I want to share with you.
If you find yourself stressed out or frustrated with all the running around we have to do as parents, try a few of these tips and products to keep your days running a little smoother!
Plan Out Your Meals.
This is something you NEED to try if you are a busy mama! Each week, I sit down and create a menu based on our schedule for the upcoming week. For instance, my daughter has karate on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I know that our dinner needs to be made early and therefore not too intricate. I typically start cooking around 4 on these days and we are eating by 5 o’clock. This helps me not feel stressed on these days because I know I have planned for our meals!
Use A Planner.
I first came across the Erin Condren planners a few years ago when I was staying home and they are a lifesaver! My favorite by far is the Deluxe Monthly Planner and I haven’t found a planner since purchasing this one that I like more. You can pick two sizes and completely customize your planner to exactly how you like it. There are motivational quotes throughout and productivity pages for you to track whatever you need to. I also added a meal planner insert to my planner which can be used with a dry erase marker over and over again!
Go Over Your Week On Sunday.
Sit down on Sunday with your planner or calendar and go over your week. Make sure you know what you have planned each day and make sure you have everything written down. Sometimes I realize that I have things written down, like reminders, in a bunch of different places so I get them all in the same place which makes keeping track so much easier.
Color Code Your Planner.
I may be a tiny bit OCD, don’t judge me, but I use different colors for what I have going on. Pink is for the blog, purple is for my daughter, blue is for my husband and green is for the dogs. This way when you open up your planner or check out your calendar, you will immediately know who has what! I LOVE these pens and use them in my bullet journal.
