“Pinterest: Everything you never knew you always wanted to know about anything.”
When I first launched Karen Sincerely, I had no idea the impact that Pinterest could have on growing my blog.
I had a personal account for a few years and pinned everything and anything that I wanted to. Basically, there was no rhyme or reason for the pins I saved to my boards.

As I started researching for my blog and ways to promote and share my content, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Pinterest is high up there on the list. You mean I can still pin things that I like and grow my blog at the same time? Sign me up.
Unfortunately, I quickly found out that it isn’t that easy. (That would have been too good to be true!) There are strategies, dimensions of pins, set up of your boards and so much more to learn.
Overwhelming to say the least.
One of the first blogging groups on Facebook that I joined when I started my blogging journey was called Boss Girl Bloggers. The group is connected to the Boss Girl Bloggers blog by EllDuclos and has over 30,000 bloggers who share ideas, advice and support each other.
Completely off topic, but if you are looking for a place to collaborate and find inspiration for achieving your blogging goals then you definitely have to check out the group!
Anyway, back to Pinterest.
When I saw the success that Ell had with her blog, and knew the goals I had for my little blog, I decided to look into the courses she created to help bloggers just like me.
You guys, if you are just starting out with Pinterest and are trying to navigate the ins and outs of using it for your blog, then you need to check out Ell’s course!
Pinterest With Ell is a self paced course that teaches you everything from getting your Pinterest set up to strategies to growing traffic to your blog using Pinterest. One section that I learned so much from was the Tailwind tutorial and strategies lecture.
Tailwind is a scheduling tool for Pinterest that allows you to find the best times to pin, schedule content days in advance and share your pins to tribes. Honestly, Tailwind has been the best investment I have made so far for my blog and Ell’s course gives amazing insight into how to get the most out of the site.
I have been able to implement many of the strategies I learned in this course and have seen significant growth in my account and traffic to my blog. Seriously, the information you will learn is worth the $32.00 you will spend on the course!
By the way, did I mention that once you purchase the course, you get to keep it forever and go back to it as many times as you want? Yup, that’s real.
